A mine site required 162,000 gallons of diesel storage in the middle of nowhere with zero room for operational error. Here’s how we did it…

When your mine site is isolated, a single pump failure can stall heavy assets and cost thousands of dollars per minute in lost production.

We engineered this portable, turnkey solution to ensure operational certainty at 3 locations within the same mine site.

Using 3 x paired Grande 110 double-walled tanks, this system delivers high-flow refuelling with built-in engineering redundancy.

Each station consists of:

✅ 2 x 27,000 gallon dual-tank system with interconnected pumping and plumbing allowing fuel to be pulled from either tank if a failure should occur.

✅ Blackmer 480V 10HP pumps delivering 160 gallons per minute at the nozzle.

✅ Dialled-in Donaldson bulk filtration manifolds protecting heavy engines from water and particulates.

✅ 2″ x 50ft Hannay Reels, Inc. with dry break nozzles to safely refuel heavy vehicles whilst eliminating spills.

✅ TCS 700 mechanical metering system featuring Veeder-Root register ensuring precise fuel measurement.

✅ Complete construction to strict UL 142 compliance standards.

Every tank and dispensing system was fully wet-tested with actual fuel and factory-commissioned under operational loads before handover.
